Interstate Drywall Corp. is working on the Waldorf Astoria project, consisting of a renovation and partial residential conversion of the hotel in Midtown East. The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria will yield 375 residences, ranging from studios to penthouses with extensive amenities. Suffolk Construction Corportation is the general contractor on the project and Interstate is currently working with Suffolk on the drywall and carpentry portion to revamp hotel interiors and renovate the residences, lobby and amenity areas.
