Interstate Drywall Corp. worked on the Jersey City Medical Center - FEMA Floor Mitigation project for Conti Federal Services. After Hurricane Sandy, JCMC was negatively impacted both physically and operationally. The project involved the construction of flood mitigation measures at JCMC’s Wilzig Hospital in accordance with the flood mitigation strategy as part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Hazard Mitigation. Interstate Drywall furnished labor, equipment, materials and supervision required to perform the work on the locking dock, ambulance bay, stairs & shafts, mechanical room and elevator bank.
