Interstate Drywall Corp. is a leading commercial construction company, specializing in interior drywall and carpentry services within New York & New Jersey. We prioritize a safe work environment and client-focused, quality service. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced construction project manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary

Project managers will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, procurement, and expense tracking. Ensure all financial targets are met.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and support staff.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships, provide regular project updates, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure any issues are resolved promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in estimating or project management software (OST/QuickBid/Procore/Plexis or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
